Our Policies:

Buyers Are Responsible For Reading Our Policies Completely

PURCHASING POLICIES:

-Items purchased from "The Have Knots" must be paid for by one of the following:
-PayPal
-Money Order
-Cashier's Check
-All of our prices are in US Dollars, and we only accept payments made in US Dollar amounts

-We do NOT accept personal checks (and please do not send cash through the mail)

-Please contact us via the built-in order form on our How To Order page to request a PayPal invoice or so we can Email our mailing address to make your payment

-Payment must clear our bank before we ship your item(s)

-"The Have Knots" reserves the right to adjust pricing on Gold jewelry according to the market value at the time of order request. We try to keep our pricing current on each page of our site, but there may be times when this is not possible as the Gold market fluctuates regularly.

-Any price quote on Gold jewelry that we give is good for 2 weeks. After two weeks, please ask for a new quote to ensure that the market value of Gold has not affected our prices

SHIPPING POLICIES:

-We currently only ship within the USA, Australia, and Canada

-Customers in Australia and Canada must pay Customs/Tariff based on the total price of the purchased items
(There is NO customs fee or tariff on S&H cost)

-For shipping to addresses in the state of West Virginia, WV sales tax will be charged on the total price of the items being purchased
(S&H costs are not taxed)

-We ship using only US Postal, Priority, Insured, with Restricted Delivery
(Restricted Delivery means the Post Office will only allow the specific addressee to sign for the parcel)

-We charge a set rate for all US Domestic shipments

-US Domestic Shipping costs are as follows:

-Rings: $10
-Bracelets: $12
-Ponytail Rings and Celtic Armbands: $12
-Celtic Crowns and Hat Bands: $15
-Shipping Costs to Australia and Canada must be calculated based on the address

-We charge shipping only for the first item - All additional items shipped for no additional cost
(When ordering multiple items, the shipping cost will be based on the item with the highest shipping cost)

-The total cost of the item (or items) purchased will determine the amount of US Postal Insurance purchased

-Should a shipment be lost or damaged by the US Postal Service, we will need to file a claim. Once a claim is filed (with your cooperation), we will then be able to refund your money
(We have NEVER had an item lost or damaged during shipping when using US Postal Service as the carrier)

RETURN POLICIES:

-Items that you wish to return must be returned (post-marked) within 14 Calendar days of the day they were received by you

-Items that you wish to return must be shipped in the same manner they were received (US Postal Priority, Insured) at the customer's expense
They must also be packed as carefully as the manner in which they were shipped to you)

-We are not responsible for an item lost or damaged on its way back to us (you as the return shipper must file an insurance claim with the US Postal Service)

-We will carefully inspect all items returned to us for damage
We reserve the right to refuse refund for damaged or abused items

-Items returned will be subject to a 15% Inspection and Restocking fee

-A Refund will be rendered within 2 weeks of us receiving the returned item(s), minus the Inspection and Restocking fee
(The orginal S&H cost to you will not be included in the refund)

OUR WARRANTIES:
SILVER
-Because of the nature and cost of our hand-wrought Silver jewelry, we only warranty our Silver jewelry for the first 14 Calendar Days after it is received by you. We include instructions for how to care for our jewelry with each item sold. If you care for our jewelry as described in our instructions, they should never break. Silver jewelry that is damaged may be returned to us for a line of credit towards a new purchase, equaling 50% of its original sale price. This is because in almost every case, a damaged item of silver must be melted down and recreated entirely

GOLD
-Because of the considerable cost of our Gold Rings and any other custom Gold jewelry, they are fully warranteed against breakage to the original purchaser for life, excluding damage from abuse or accidental mishap. If damaged by accidental or intentional abuse, we will be glad to offer repair service (or replacement if necessary) to damaged Gold jewelry for a set rate of 15% of the original cost, plus our standard Shipping and Handling fee.
